Summary

MERCYLOCK does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information with us or with advertisers. The game has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, social-login service, or developer-operated online backend.

Information stored on your device

To provide game functionality, MERCYLOCK stores the following information in the app's private storage on your device:

• campaign progress and completed contracts;
• mastery results and gameplay statistics, such as best turns, loops, hints, and detections;
• the current active run, so that a mission can be continued;
• Story Archive unlocks and recovered rewards;
• accessibility, audio, visual, and haptic settings; and
• local playtest counters, such as attempts, completions, detections, and opened safes.

This information is generated through normal gameplay. It is not used to identify you and is not transmitted to us.

Device permissions

MERCYLOCK may use Android's vibration capability to provide optional haptic feedback. The vibration permission does not provide access to personal information. Haptic feedback can be disabled in the game's settings.

MERCYLOCK does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, media library, advertising identifier, or precise device identifiers.

Android and Google Play services

MERCYLOCK does not send gameplay or personal information to a developer-operated server. If Android backup is enabled for your device, the operating system or your platform provider may include the game's private app data in a device or cloud backup. Backup availability and handling are controlled by your device, Google account, and platform settings, and are subject to the relevant provider's privacy policy.

Local game data remains on your device until you clear MERCYLOCK's storage or uninstall the game. You can delete it through Android's app settings or by uninstalling MERCYLOCK.

Copies retained by an Android or cloud-backup service are controlled through your device or account backup settings and may remain according to that provider's retention schedule. Because we do not receive or store your gameplay data on our systems, we cannot access, restore, or delete it remotely.

Security

Game data is stored within Android's app-private storage and is not intentionally transmitted by MERCYLOCK. No method of device storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should maintain appropriate device security, including a screen lock and current operating-system updates.
